The Billboard Live Concept
Billboard Live is an American based concept which is themed on "live" musical entertainment and includes a restaurant, bar, discotheque and merchandise in its profit centres. It will become a major player in the arena of media production for the TV/cable/satellite and music industries. The Billboard name has been awarded to Billboard Live International, Inc. (BLI) under a 99-year license from Billboard Publications Inc. - the publisher of the worldwide music industry magazine "Billboard", which is now over 100 years in print.
Billboard Live is a "media distribution channel": it attracts guests to its premises to hear/see live music and it broadcasts to millions more guests by TV or radio, it will also sell music on disc, on the internet and via video
Billboard Live TV Productions (BLTP) will be the separate, specialist company established to create TV music quiz's, star search programmes and music showcases or dance shows, etc.
